Why We Love It

this coffee will always have a special place in our hearts! it’s our very first roast, our “first child,” and the one that set Non-Conformity Coffee in motion.

We’re obsessed with its bright stonefruit sweetness, creamy cashew body, and the smooth, lingering finish of dark chocolate. It’s complex yet comforting, adventurous yet approachable. basically everything we love in a coffee, wrapped up in one delicious cup.

our producer: Edelweiss Estate

Meet Edelweiss Estate, a vibrant, 600-acre family farm nestled on a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to incredible wildlife like black rhinos, elephants, and zebras. The Vohora family has lovingly managed this land since the end of World War 2, and today they’re leading the way in sustainable, high-altitude coffee production. They've modernized mill operations to improve water stewardship and deliver top-notch quality from cherry to cup.

coffee that cares

Edelweiss isn’t just about great coffee; it’s about community. More than 50 full-time team members live on the estate, with housing and land to grow their own food, boosting food security and stability.

did you know that in Tanzania’s coffee world, women shoulder up to 75 % of manual labor in coffee farms. That’s why many initiatives in the region now focus on empowering women across the value chain—from field to market. So, when you sip on Edelweiss, you're tasting not just terroir, but a cup infused with social impact and community care.
