our producer: Esmeralda Cooperative
This decaf comes from the Producers of the Esmeralda Cooperative in Mexico, a network of smallholder farmers working together to improve quality and market access for their coffee. Grown in the highlands and naturally processed before being decaffeinated using the Ethyl Acetate (EA) method, this lot retains its rich sweetness and regional character without chemical solvents.
The cooperative’s members focus on sustainable, small-scale farming, and many are women producers leading their families’ operations. cultivating coffee that supports both household income and local community resilience.
coffee that cares
We source this decaf because it represents care at every level, from farmers choosing environmentally conscious methods to a decaffeination process that respects both the coffee and the planet.
By spotlighting women-led farms within the Esmeralda Cooperative, we’re investing in gender equity and ensuring that even decaf drinkers can support meaningful, traceable impact with every cup.
